Bref, un lieu où notre ptit loup était content d’aller et où il s’est fait des amis.
Un lieu où nous étions contents de le voir grandir et dans lequel nous avions 100%
confiance.
A refaire ? On choisit de nouveau La Marelle demain ! »

"Para nuestra familia empezar la guardería era una decisión muy difícil, ya que podíamos elegir mantener a las niñas en casa hasta empezar el colegio. Pero también queríamos que estuvieran con otros niños en un entorno muy controlado. A los niños de La Marelle los había visto mi madre de paseo varias veces, y me había hablado de una guardería que llevaba a los niños al parque con unos carritos. Así que nos costó mucho, pero cuando cumplieron 2 años y medio, tomamos la decisión de llevar primero a una, y al cabo de 3 meses a la otra. Y entonces me arrepentí de no haberlo hecho antes. No puedo decir más que cosas buenas de esta guardería. Cuidan muy bien a los niños, mucho más allá de lo que esperas cuando te imaginas una guardería "normal". La cantidad y variedad de actividades que hacen es increíble, y te mantienen al corriente de lo que ocurre diariamente en el chat de padres. Hacen un esfuerzo de adaptación a cada niño que les hace sentir muy cómodos y florecer en sus capacidades. “When it was time to make the difficult decision of
choosing a daycare for my 13month old son William, I had very high standards
and list of "non-negotiables". One of these was the 1:5 ratio I found
at La Marelle, another was regular trips outside, a respectful approach to the

“Notre fille a intégré la marelle au mois d’avril, en
cours d’année. Pourtant elle s’est tout de suite sentie très à l’aise ! Alex,
Chrisou et Mika sont géniaux !!! Toujours le sourire, hyper dynamiques, on les
aime !!!! Alex organise des activités très variées pour nos petits bouts. Ils
vont aussi plusieurs fois par semaine au parc de la ciutadella, passer la
matinée et pique-niquer. Il existe toutefois un défaut à la marelle : il faut à

”La Marelle is a lovely place. The owner, Alex, is French and she is the main teacher there, together with one or two helpers. We find La Marelle to be very creative compared to other kindergardens. The teachers organize a lot of things for the kids to do, like baking cookies, various games, puppet shows, dancing, music, drawing etc. We like that it is not very regimented and that they let the kids explore the various toys available there, even if most of them are doing something else together. They do not force anyone to participate in a specific game or activity. In any case, the time I spent there observing, I found that the teachers are very good at keeping things interesting and engaging. The meals are prepared with organic veggies so that is a big bonus. It is not modern/high tech/brand spanking new, but what it lacks in polish it makes up in heart and substance. I sincerely have nothing negative to say about the place as we have been very happy with it.
We can be certain that whenever we pick up our daughter she has had a fun day and that she is happy and that is the most important thing!

"La Marelle is a wonderful, caring, co-operative space. There's a great balance of free play, activities and outings. They obviously genuinely care about the kids. The ratio of 1:5 carers to kids means that the carers can interact with the kids in a meaningful way. The staff are all multilingual, and switch languages quickly and easily to communicate with individual children. I was hesitant to start my daughter in any daycare because she was very attached to me, and had some social anxiety around other children, but Alex was very accommodating during my daughter's transition into daycare, and just 2 weeks after starting at La Marelle I saw a big improvement in her confidence in social situations. “Deciding to leave our 2.5 year old a couple of mornings a week at La Marelle was easy! After attending a year of Gineceo and Splash workshops, getting to know Alex, the space and philosophy of La Marelle, watching how much our toddler evolved socially and got so much out of the group activities, the grupo de crianza was a happy natural conclusion.
